The layout of the original driveway felt dated and lacked shape. We started by preparing the entire area ready for the new installation. Once the base was prepared, we installed charcoal block paved bullnose kerbs to create a soft rounded edge that looks smart and helps guide vehicles neatly onto the driveway. We followed this with a matching charcoal block paved border that frames the whole drive and gives a strong visual outline.

With the smart edging in place, we moved on to the main surface. The customer selected our popular silver blend resin bound finish. It is a bright clean stone blend that works perfectly with modern homes and makes bungalows look sharp and contemporary. Once mixed, the resin was laid through our screed sledge to guarantee consistent depth across the whole area, then hand trowelled for a smooth and flawless finish.

When everything was complete, the transformation was incredible. The bungalow instantly stepped out of the 1950s and now looks modern, fresh and full of kerb appeal. The silver resin brightens the space beautifully while the charcoal edging adds definition and contrast. It is a driveway built to last with a high quality installation from start to finish.
