Rubber and Aggregate Resin Golf Cart Pathways at Sene Valley Golf Club

At Varney Surfaces, we’ve been working on some amazing new surfaces for golf courses and one of our favourites has to be this rubber and aggregate resin pathway system.

The photo here was taken at Sene Valley Golf Club in Kent, where we created smooth, seamless buggy paths that look fantastic and perform brilliantly in all weather conditions.

This type of surface is made by mixing recycled rubber granules with decorative natural stone and a premium UV-stable resin. The result is a flexible, cushioned, and slip-resistant pathway that’s perfect for golf carts, trolleys, and pedestrians. It doesn’t crack, it drains naturally when it rains, and it blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape.

One of the biggest benefits is how comfortable and quiet it feels under wheels and underfoot no more bumpy gravel or uneven concrete. It’s also a much more sustainable choice, as it uses recycled materials that would otherwise go to waste.

Although we’ve used this system mainly on golf courses, it’s also ideal for lots of other areas, such as:

  • Footpaths and garden walkways

  • Parks and leisure centres

  • Cycle paths and bridleways

  • Schools and playgrounds

  • Holiday resorts and retirement villages

Every project can be tailored to suit its surroundings, from subtle natural tones that blend into the landscape to brighter, decorative colours that make a statement.

If you’d like to see how this could work for your golf club or leisure project, get in touch with Varney Surfaces. We can show you colour samples, explain the installation process, and help you choose the right system for your site.
